Since opening our doors in November 2016 we've been really busy making the pub look lovely! The bar and restaurant are done and we now have B&B rooms. To book, give us ring.
Our new double sided wood burner is in situ in the middle of the bar making for an even cosier atmosphere on cold nights.
We have finished redecorating the outside of the pub and it's looking amazing. See the pics in the gallery. Just added some Wisteria which will just get better and better.
We have almost finished remodeling the end of the car park to accommodate a few more cars and make the area more attractive for B&B guests. We’ll be planting soon to finish it off.
We often have quiz nights and live music, so follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for upcoming stuff.
We have eaten here before and had booked in - always useful; this has become an extremely popular venue!! Our meal was in the main pub because there were parties booked for the "upstairs room" ... the atmosphere was festive and we thoroughly enjoyed being on the level, too!! Our meals were divine - Roger's rib eye "perfect"; my Camembert starter very generous and scrumptious ... the sparkly tree added to the festive atmosphere; we'll be back soon!!
We haven't actually stayed in the B&B but plan to; it looks enticing and we are very confident we will be thrilled!

Our wonderful chef Dan Is taking a break. We will miss you And wish you all the best.
We would like to give Robbie, our new chef, a huge welcome to our pub family, and of course, there will be some changes to the menu in the coming weeks.
And we love our amazing Landlady Jacqui. To the Manor Born as they say.
With some sudden and unexpected staff losses in the kitchen it will be operating on restricted hours for the next couple of weeks until another new chef joins our team. Please bear with us and phone ahead to check when the kitchen is open.
The Restaurant mural "Waterbirds of Finchingfield" is finished and it looks amazing; come and have a look! Is it a 'fair wall of fowl' or a 'foul wall of fare' ?
