The Lion Cub, a horse-box transformed into an outside bar and is a mini-me of the pub! Look out for it on events days on the green or when we have events in the garden in the summer.
Visit our sister pub - The George Inn - a couple of villages away in Shalford. Another proper village pub. Have a drink and sample the menu whilst having a game of pool. Paul Pilgrim, the owner, will love to tell you about the place - here grew up here - so catch him; one of the staff; or one of the ever-so friendly locals for a chat.
We are open and serving food all day, everyday - we don't take bookings - just rock up for a crackin’ good time.
We specialise in homemade, delicious Italian style pizzas, and the meat toppings have been lovingly and slowly smoked by Paul And are truly delicious.
Just love the atmosphere, mostly great music, friendly quirky bar staff and just like a proper pub used to be and still seems to work as a great pub now
