Since opening our doors in November 2016 we've been really busy making the pub look lovely! The bar and restaurant are done and we now have B&B rooms. To book, give us ring.
Our new double sided wood burner is in situ in the middle of the bar and will be connected up very soon, making for an even cosier atmosphere.
We have finished redecorating the outside of the pub and it's looking amazing. See the pics in the gallery.
We are planning a major new design and overhaul of the garden, work to begin late March or early April. We are hugely excited to get this underway.
We will be remodeling the end of the car park and area behind the pub as soon as we can to accommodate a few more cars and make the area more attractive for B&B guests.
We will be celetrating National Pie Week 5th to 11th March with a different delicious homemade day each day.

A happy accidental find. We were on our way to another pub when we spotted the sign for this so stopped. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a really delicious lunch. Check out the dining room, it is beautiful and the birds are all painted by the co-owner freehand, amazing. We will be booking to come here again in January for an evening meal with friends

We went there for lunch, the service, food and the ambience was spectacular, Jacqui the owner was so helpful & could not do enough for us, the restaurant decor is amazing too, Thank you for a great service, we will be going back again

Our wonderful chefs, Dan and Luke take pride in using only the finest local ingredients to create our lovely menu and daily specials.
And of course our amazing Landlady Jacqui. To the Manor Born as they say.
We now serve food ALL day (12-9pm) seven days a week.
The Restaurant mural "Waterbirds of Finchingfield" is finished and it looks amazing; come and have a look! Is it a 'fair wall of fowl' or a 'foul wall of fare' ?
Where can I park? The pub has its own car park for the use of our customers. You are welcome to eat with us and then leave your car here while you explore our beautiful village.
Are children allowed in the pub? Yes in the bar (with adult supervision), in the restaurant or beer garden.
Can I bring my dog? Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar and garden (please clear up after them). Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs in the restaurant or bedrooms.
What if I have any special dietary requirements? As long as our chef is made aware in advance, he will adapt our menu items to suit, or if that is not possible, he will prepare something suitable.
Can you accommodate large groups? With advance notice, yes we can. In some circumstances the restaurant have be hired for private functions. However this does depend of availability so please contact us to discuss your requiremeets.
Do you have accommodation on site? We have lovely beamed B&B rooms, all ensuite. Please ring to make reservations.
